Stonelion Kung Fu Academy Videos

The following videos were shot by the Shaolin Lawyer or students of the Stonelion Kung Fu Academy.  These short footages depict students practicing basic forms during their daily training in Beishaolin and related styles.

Students are encouraged to film themselves throughout their training journey.  Indeed, having a “third-person point of view” with respect to one’s forms provides a practitioner with valuable insight in his/her martial art progress.

Happy viewing!

Kicks, Kicks and more Kicks!

Videos 6 & 7

These videos were taken during a regular training session.  Students from the Intermediate class go through basic training exercises, kicking drills, forms, and a whole lot of other fun stuff!

Part 1

Video 5

Kung Fu is about training diligently, seriously, and pushing yourself beyond the limits we all impose upon ourselves.  Yet, Kung Fu enthusiasts should also know when to yield, and give way to laughter!  ;-)

Videos 3 & 4

These 2 videos show the same students as seen in videos 2 practicing Chang Chuan no. 1.  Although this is a basic modern wushu form, it introduces students to the core of Shaolin Kung Fu through the practice of deep, rooted stances, and long focused hands strikes.

Videos 2

The following 2 videos show students of the Stonelion Kung Fu Academy practicing Lien Bu Chuan on Campus on a beautiful sunny day.  Keep it up boys, things are starting to come together!

Video 1

This video was shot in October, 2006, in a quiet little park, located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Clips show students practicing Tan Tui, Lohan Shi Ba Quan, Gong Li Chuan, as well as forearm conditioning.

Peace,

The Shaolin Lawyer
